Casa do SolPraia de Jacumã · Brazil
Shaded sea-view terrace with the pool and the Atlantic behind it

Steps from your bed to the ocean.

A whole beach house on Praia de Jacumã — four suites, a pool above the sand, and the Atlantic at the end of the lawn. Thirty-five minutes from Natal airport.

4 en-suite bedrooms

Pool jacuzzi & terrace

Beachfront, literally

You wake up to it, and you fall asleep to it.

There is no road to cross, no dune to climb, no five-minute walk. The lawn runs down towards the water and the Atlantic fills the windows of the living room, the terrace and three of the four suites.

Jacumã is a quiet stretch of the Rio Grande do Norte coast — warm water most of the year, wide sand at low tide, and far fewer people than the beaches closer to Natal.

The whole house is yours

No shared spaces. No other guests. No hotel corridor.

Casa do Sol sleeps eight across four queen bedrooms, each with its own bathroom — so every couple or pair travelling together gets a door that closes and a shower of their own.

Inside: an open living and dining area, a full kitchen, a games room, air conditioning throughout. Outside is where most guests actually end up — the pool, the jacuzzi, the barbecue, the hammocks and a long table under the shade.

Around you

The coast is the reason to leave the house.

Jacumã sits on the quiet stretch of Rio Grande do Norte's north coast — dunes on one side, freshwater lagoons behind, fishing villages that still stop for lunch. Everything below is a short drive, and most of it a buggy ride.

5 minutes

Lagoa de Jacumã

Freshwater a few minutes from the salt. The brave go down the dune on a board — esquibunda — or out over the water on a zip line. Everyone else orders grilled lobster at the shacks and watches them land.

20 minutes

The dunes of Genipabu

The most photographed dunes in Brazil. The buggy driver asks whether you want it com emoção ou sem emoção — with thrills or without. There are dromedaries too, which nobody expects.

15 minutes

Pitangui and Muriú

The next beaches along, where lagoons run down to meet the sea. Almost nobody on the sand, and a handful of places to eat with your feet in it.

1 hour north

The natural pools at Maracajaú

The reef sits seven kilometres offshore. At low tide the boats go out and the water above it is warm, waist-deep and full of fish — snorkelling without needing to be a swimmer.

1 hour

Natal

The old Portuguese fort at the river mouth, Ponta Negra beach under the Morro do Careca, and proper restaurants for the night you would rather not cook.

On the doorstep

Or simply nothing

The beach in front of the house is wide and quiet, the pool is warm by ten, and the hammocks are already up. Plenty of guests never make it past the lawn.

Getting here

Thirty-five minutes from the plane to the sand.

Praia de Jacumã sits in Ceará-Mirim, Rio Grande do Norte. Natal's airport is north-west of the city, which puts it closer to us than the city itself — about 35 minutes. We can arrange a driver to meet you.

Fly to Natal

Aeroporto Internacional de São Gonçalo do Amarante (NAT), with direct connections from Lisbon, São Paulo, Rio and Recife.

Thirty-five minutes by road

A straight run up the coast. We'll arrange a driver, or take a rental car if you want to explore the lagoons and dunes on your own.

Arrive from 2 pm

Check-in from 14:00, check-out by 10:00. Your host meets you at the house and stays reachable throughout.

Good to know

The house rules, plainly.

How many people can stay?

Up to eight guests across the four queen suites. We welcome up to four children and four infants within that total. We don't provide cots.

Are pets allowed?

On request. Tell us about your animal when you enquire — a cleaning fee may apply.

Can we have a party or event?

No events or parties, and no smoking inside the house. The primary guest must be at least 18.

What's the cancellation policy?

Full refund if you cancel 30 days or more before check-in, 50% up to 7 days before, and no refund after that.

Is there a minimum stay?

Usually one night. Carnaval is the exception, with a four-night minimum.

Is the beach really in front?

Yes. The lawn runs down towards the water — no road to cross, no shuttle, no walk.
